Competency in the Use of Instructional Technology in Education:

Students admitted to programs in the Woodring College of Education are required to possess competence in the use of instructional technology in education prior to completion of their program and, when applicable, prior to being recommended for certification.

Instructional Technology in Education:

This program is designed for those who wish to improve or develop their abilities to select, use, adapt and create learning materials incorporating technology. This program provides teachers with the background necessary to integrate instructional technology into their lessons.

544 Instructional Technology and Education (4 Credits):

A study in the use of technological tools for instruction; for teaching, training, and student learning; for presentation and development; and for administration and management. Incorporates distance delivery procedures and effective planning for the use of instructional technology. Satisfies the Woodring College of Education instructional technology and education competency requirement. Emphasis on K-12 education.

Grading: Your grade will be based on assignments class attendance, course projects, and reading/research. An A/F grading system is used for this course.

A = 97-100% A- = 92-96% B+ = 89-91% B = 86-88%
B- = 84-85% C+ = 81-83% C = 78-80% C- = 76-77%
D+ = 73-75% D = 70-72% D- = 68-69% F= 67% and lower
